Has anybody found out how to change the line font for the bend lines in section views? When you go to the section tab in a view style for a section view you have the option of turning the bend lines on or off. It's just a straight line. I'd like to find out if there is a way to change it to the traditional view break font.

What version of NX are you running?

After you've created your section view and you've toggled the 'Bend Lines' ON, go to...

Edit -> View -> View Depenent Edit...

...and select the section view and from the 'Add Edits' list select the 'Edit Entire Objects' option. Now in the 'Wireframe Edits' section set the line Color/Font/Width that you desire, hit 'Apply' and then select the curves, in this case the 'Bend Lines' and then hit OK.

We are running NX8. Not quite what I had in mind. That will change the line font to dashed, centerline, phantom and such. What i'm looking for is a break line font without having to create a view break.

Is the use of a so-called 'view break' linefont based on a recognized Drafting Standard?

or, Are you look to break the cutting plane line because it is interferring with something?

I thought the standard was for all section views but apparently it's reserved just for broken views. I just remember the days of jagged lines showing where the cut position was in the view.
