Bend notes "hiding" in broken view

I'm making a 60" long sheet metal part, to get the flat view to fit on the page, I put in a broken view. I arranged all the dimensions and bend notes (i.e. 90* Down). Then I save it, when I re-open most of the bend notes have gone and "hid" under the broken view. Anyone else experience this? Is there some setting to lock annotations in a certain place? Or do I just have to make regular notes for the bend info. I have a lot of parts like this so any steps I can remove (making new bend notes) will help greatly.

Thanks!!

Do you recall if you attched the notes to the view or the Sheet?

Normally you would attach it to the view, but maybe you might want to attach it to the sheet instead. That away if view changes the annotations will not disappear, because its attached to the sheet instead.

here's a zip of the part and drawing as well as an edrawings file right after I save and another one after I close and reopen.

@SBaugh, These are the bend notes that are created by SolidWorks, so I don't know if I can unassociate them with the part.

Thanks!!

Dave I opened and closed drawing and all is good.SW 11 rev 3

The only Bend Line note missing (per the before and after eDrawing files) is the (2)Up 90°. The SW drawing shows the same as the "after" eDrawing.

Badger, this has been the default behavior for flat patterns as long as I remember, if you are using the "Display sheet metal bend notes" in the view properties. You may need to cheat on this one. You could put an unbroken flat pattern off of the sheet border and drag the notes to your broken view, but they may not update correctly when changes are made.

Not "best practices" advice. Diego
