Anybody have best recommendations for a slippery surface with the lowest wear rate?

Examples:

Teflon on plastic
Hard Anodized Aluminum on Teflon
Hard Anodized on plastic

This will be sliding wear. One will ride over the other.

an air cushion which prevents contact between different materials would have low friction and the air probably won't abrade most engineering materials.

My best recommendation is to assemble a comprehensive list of your requirements, and a full description of the problem including drawings and photographs.
Operating temperature and "PV" for just two of MANY examples.
I suspect price should be on the checklist as well to quickly and correctly define "best."

For many of my projects the first and only criterion is "what is stashed in the garage having been discovered in bygone days by the side of the road on trash day."
