So a couple plastic placard diagrams on the safety panels of an old exercise machine fell off. After inquiring the manufacturer's customer support to ascertain the type of materials only led me to a dead-end, I figured that an all-purpose, rubberized glue--i.e. Link--might prove the most reliable option. Unfortunately, the following day both had merely slid down the guards and warped where the top and bottom ends were slightly curled outward. Out of a quick(er)-setting glue, clamping, or double-sided tape (even drilling holes for mechanical fastening came to mind as a last resort), is anyone familiar with the industry standard technique for attaching these to such a slick substrate? The only general guide I could find was this chart: Link

I'd try double sided foam tape, plus a nice schmear of RTV silicone (unfilled, not 'construction adhesive') to take over when the tape fails.
