Best practice to design sheetmetal parts

Which module (technique) is recommended to design sheet metal parts, keeping in mind to edit history for future needs.

Well, obviously the sheet metal module would be the way to go here.

If you're running a pre-NX 9.0 version of NX, you can find the 'NX Sheet Metal' module under the NX 'Start' menu.

If you're running NX 9.0 you'll find the 'Sheet Metal' module in the 'Applications' section of the 'File' menu page.

Note there is also an 'Aerospace Sheet Metal' module for more complex models.
