Hi everybody,
I would like to make some tests with a M400-50A steel. I can't find any characteristic curve or any Steinmetz parameter for this material, can anybody help me?

Thanks in advance.

What about the material makes you want to test it?

If you can get a sample, there are independent testing houses you can send it out for testing those parameters. It's a question of if it is worth spending the money.

Somehow I can say that I'm not exactly interested in this material. I have a transformer made with this material in the lab. Considering the equipment that there is in the lab, for the moment this is the only transformer I can use for my purposes. I would like to measure magnetic losses with non-sinusoidal waveforms, and compare them with some theoretical analysis. That's why I'm interested in the material's characteristic curve.
