Hi, I'm looking for an alternative brand for this type of potentiometer.
using it for a joystick project. It should be able to work for +/- directions.

currently using Contelec (PL310 model) brand but curious if anyone have any idea on other brand which I can't find in google.
or is there any other name for it?

It is quite common for potentiometers to have both ends of the resistor brought out.
Use a pair of suitable resistors to form a 50% voltage divider. Take your reference voltage from the 50% point and from the potentiometer wiper.
Properly done, the circuit will nul with the potentiometer wiper at 50% and give an increasing signal with the polarity determined by the direction of movement.

Not just a good idea;
