Boat or Scoop Test

Hi,
Could someone tell me that the applicable standard to Scoop Test or Boat Steel on steel?. I can not find an specific reference in ASME VIII, Div.1 or 2.

This is a very new technology as I understand from the link.The company that does this would be able to refer to relevant inspection standard. ASME Sec V has not included it yet.
The first thing that comes to my mind is that, in some oil and gas industries, there is a trend to usher in new inspection techniques, and this could be one.
However, its applicability seems quite limited as conventional inspection methods do quite well.
