I apologize in advance if this in appropriate, as I know this is a technical forum, but I've recently been layed off and am looking for career pointers.

Can anyone tell me companies that provide biomass boilers and/or biomass energy systems? I know of companies like Nexterra, Wellons, Detroit Stoker. I've been watching for companies like B&W and FW for related job openings but haven't had any luck.

Are there other companies? Ideally they'd be Canadian, or in a place that Canadians can live legally. Ideally I'd like a larger company like BW/FW.

I'm not asking for actual contacts or leads, but just companies to watch for in the future.

I would really appreciate any help.

That was posted earlier in the BPV forum and Metso, and Doosan Babcock were suggested. I'm still looking for companies to look at, I intend to check out everyone company suggested.

Maybe ABB Combustion in Derby, UK? Once was International Combustion, then passed through Rolls-Royce who managed it into the ground.

If we learn from our mistakes I'm getting a great education!

Metso Power (previously Kvaerner Power and even earlier Kvaerner Pulping formed from Tampella Power in Finland and Gotaverken Energy in Sweden) provides world's largest 100% biomass-fired boilers using CFB and BFB technologies. They have tons of installations in Europe and many in US.

Sorry, read the OP too quickly. You already know about Nexterra.
