Boiler Tube Expansion Percentage Limits

Can anyone help me out with the maximum limit percentage for tube expansion in boilers. I have seen many manufacturers recommending 8 to 10% tube expansion for carbon steel tubes and vessel but I need to know what is the maximum limit that can be considered safe for tube expansion for new boiler.

The actual percentage range depends on several factors; tube material, tubesheet thickness and material, etc. What are your design materials and application??
