I have a pump motor connected to the base using 3/4" diameter bolts which have markings on the bolt head
MULTI-C
A-8
I have determined that Multi-c stands for the word "MULTI" followed by capital "C" to be applied to all ASME bolts manufactured to Nuclear Standards Associates or Cardinal Industrial Products, Inc. Standards.
"A-8" most likely identifies material grade.
Is it Grade 8 bolt?
does anyone have Nuclear Standards Associates or Cardinal Industrial Products, Inc. Standards.
These companies were active in 1960s, therefore it is difficult to find any PDFs with their standards or specifications.
I have uploaded page from publication which identified what MULTI-C means.
I am looking for material grade for markings "A-8"
