Bolt Shear Max Load

Hi All

This may sound very simple to many. Not exactly my field.

I wanted to bolt up (4 bolts) from a vertical plate to an existing beam.
Please see my attached sketch.

I intend to mount a panel on the stand which is about 80kg (including the the stand weight)
Bolt/stud is M16 grade 8.8 or equivalent.

What is the simplest calculation method to confirm that it will take the weight?
Did a check on the internet but it tend to give a complex calculation.

Appreciate the help.

well without any calculation i would say....4 bolts M16 can take a load of 80 kg ( which is less than what I weigh )

Just for my further understanding, which source / book do you obtain the formula.
 
from mechanical characteristics of material and from theory (engineering)of shear on a circular section + a safety factor (my personal understanding)
 
we're looking at the orange thing in the pic ? which direction is the load, horizontal or vertical ?

plus the moment of the equipment weight to the back of the plate eccentricity. In Canada, the test is (shear/allowable shear)^2+(tension/allowable tension)^2 <= 1.

Hi Gents

Load is vertically down. A panel will be bolted to a cross beam welded to the vertical stand.
