Dear All,

At the moment I am busy to review our company piping classes. One of the topics of discussion is the bolting material to be used and the strategies that we will follow in the future regarding the protective coatings.

I have done quite some investigations and it seems that as always a lot of different opinions are circuling in the piping world.

In order to create a simplified approach of bolt material/protective coating selection, I would appreciate your input on this issue. Of course cost impact should be minimal and an strategy that can be used in most of the applications are the key factors.

Any other information about this topic is highly appreciated.

Best regards,

Gino

Hello Steve,

Thank you for these references.
I have checked for a copy but it seems that the link to the DNV report is not working anymore.
Since I am a Nace member, I thought that it would be easy to have this publication, but it isn't.
Do you have copies of both documents?
