I've deleted a part in my assembly and the column of the given part in the design table but for some reason it still appears on the BOM table on the drawing?

I tried deleting the whole design table in the assembly and the BOM table from the drawing, including the drawing view the BOM table was based on. Recreated both design and BOM table and view, yet the parts still appear on the BOM table. Any idea what's going on or the fix for this?

Thanks in advance

You need to turn off the "Keep missing items" option of the BOM properties.

SW Help said:
If components have been deleted from the assembly since the Bill of Materials was created, you can keep the components listed in the table. If missing components are still listed, the text for the items can appear with Strikeout display.
