I've got a top level assembly, which contains about 12 subassemblies. Each subassembly represents an assembly station, and contains the parts and subassemblies that get assembled at that station. (This may not be the best way of doing this, but the model was created this way long ago, and I've got to work with it.)
Creating a drawing for the first station was easy. I just brought that subassembly up, and ballooned it.
I've created a simplified rep containing just the first and second subassemblies. This is the frame, and some parts that get assembled onto it at one assembly station.
I've added 3 views of this to my drawing.
I would like to create a BOM and balloons only for one subassembly in these views, yet show both.
I've added the subassembly model to the drawing, and set it active. I was then able to create the BOM for this model, but it won't let me create balloons on the views though. I set my repeat region and all.
I'd really rather not use filters, as it would be a thousand items to "omit".
Basically I want to create drawings for our machine as it goes down the assembly line ballooning only the parts that get attached at each station.
I hope this is clear, as it's hard to describe in type what I'm trying to show on the screen.

Possibly the simplest way to achieve this would be to open each sub-assembly, select all parts & add a new YES/NO parameter (eg sub1, sub2, etc), and set it to YES. Then you can filter to exclude all other items (asm.member.sub1 != yes).

Every balloon that you created correspond only to each region they are set to. I dont' think you can have 2 simplified reps and using only 1 BOM to show the balloon. I did this and got similar results. I called PTC, they said that's how Pro works.
