It says surface roughening, flame treatment or etching with chromic acid all improve the bond strength, flame by about 20% and chromic by about 30%. Epoxy resins give from 0.45 to 5.38mpa bond strength depending on type, surface preparation and method of application. Hylobond F300 AB 450 CA30 on a solvent cleaned and 80 grit sandblasted surface gave best results.
