I have been seeking ways to handle large assemblies even though I don't have an advanced assembly license. I read about bookmarks the other day and thought I would give it a try. It appears that it is unavailable to me thru my menu picks. I assume that is because it is an advanced assembly option.

However the interesting thing is that I initially went to the command finder to locate the bookmark command and it allows me to start it from there. It opens a save dialog window and I have saved a couple bookmarks and then opened them up thru the regular file open dialog.

I assume this is a glitch. Anyone know of other functions availible thru the command finder that you would otherwise not have access to?

I don't think the bookmark function requires an advanced assembly license, odd that you can't get to it from the menu.

I have no problem accessing...

File -> Save Bookmark...

...directly from the Main Menus. Make sure that the role that you're using allow 'full menus'.

And NO, you do NOT need an Advanced Assemblies license to create or access Bookmarks.

John,

I just tried and I also can access the bookmark command through the file menu.

When I went to the command finder looking for the bookmark command it showed a route to bookmarks thru: analysis/assembly clearance/analysis/save bookmark.

I customized my menu bar by navigating to the command and dragging it down in to my bar. The icon was greyed out in my menu bar.

I am guessing same command just not accessable thru the anaylis menu.

Hello,

Try Command Finder
And fill in Bookmark, and it should point you where your command is.
