My background in vehicle dynamics is limited to amateur road racing, but I've recently begun a job in the passenger car industry and I'm looking for the best books to get up to speed on vehicle dynamics for passenger cars. The job will be in the testing area, so emphasis on testing is good, too. The suggestion I have so far (from this forum) is Matschinsky's "Road Vehicle Suspensions." Are there other (or even better) choices I should be considering? As these books tend to be expensive I'd like to pare it down to just two or three.
