My search for this came up thin.

To run Mechanica I need to accept ProE2, the second configuration, which appeared after IT set me up with the Mechanica module.
When I borrow ProE Wildfire 4 to use off site I choose the second config.

ProE works OK, but when I try to run Mechanica off site I get a Can't find license error.

Google finds a few, very few, comments about borrowing Mechanica license. Mostly complaints that license borrowing is difficult and miserably documented. But Something that also appears a few times is the necessity of running ProE, and Mechanica, and even doing an analysis before borrowing the license.

I think I tried that last night, but still got a no license error.

Before I plead with IT to consult with PTC tech support, does anyone know the REAL answer?

thanks,

Dan T
