Hi everyone,
I am fairly new to Abaqus. I have a pretty complicated geometry so instead of creating the solid elements straight away, I first created a shell mesh and then created the 3D one using the bottom up technique (revolve). The original surface is still there though so I tried to create a mesh part but the Query function revealed that the 2D mesh is still there too and this is creating quite some problems in the Assembly module.
Can anybody help with this?
Thank you!
