Hello,
I'm having some trouble finding the proper parameters for my flow simulation. I have a 4 runner intake manifold and have figured out the timings each valve opens based on cam duration. I am estimating intake flow based on HP and RPM of ~225 cubic ft/min @ 14.7 psi.

What I am trying to find is how many CFM flows through each runner when the valve is opening. I've set each runner to open (time dependent) by changing the pressure from 14.7 psi to 2 psi, thus sucking in air.

I can get my reading from the goals I have set, and everything looks great EXCEPT I'm back flowing from each runner. So I'll show a positive flow for a duration before and after each valve opens (while valve is closed), and the proper negative flow when it is opened.

I've search for days trying to figure out how to better run this test, and I hope I'm explaining this well. How can I open flow for each runner and close flow without inducing the back flow?

Please help...at a loss!
