Dear all,
I am running a static, general analysis in 3 steps.
To simplify during step 1 I apply a Y Symmetry boundary condition on the edge of my part.
During step 2 I deactivate the layer of elements where YSymmetry condition applied using a model change interaction.
Finally during step 3 I create a new boundary condition YSymmetry on the new edge which was previously in contact with the layer of elements deactivated.
My problem is that the new boundary condition is not created in step 3. On the odb result, if I ask Abaqus to visualise the boundary conditions, it does not appear and the results seem to confirm that it was not created.
Does anyone had this problem and managed to solve it?
Many thanks for your help.
Clement
