BPSPLOT Error for IDEAS10

Hi Team


We are using siemens IDEAS10 software on my UNIX server to convert cgm to tiff file for a while(Over 10 years).

Suddenly i am getting the following error

Looks like your license server isn't running.

Thanks for your reply.

License sever is running fine and validating the license.

I have restarted the license daemon server too. But no use.


Finally got the solution from one of the google post and the problem solved. Now IDEAS10 is working fine.

Added "EDS_ID10_LICENSE_FILE=7610@ecc1nz01.mc2.cpy.com" in the sec.com file.

Still i do not know how it was working previously without this variable and why it is working after i have added this line????
