I have a scenario where a steel bracing frame is situated on a long strip footing. The frame columns are 2m apart and impart a overturning force of 70kN (1 up , 1 down) each to the footing, which is for other purposes approx. 15m Long. Frame situated approx. central along length of footing. Obviously global instability is of little concern, yet what I'm after is the localized internal actions acting on the footing at the frame location. Without resorting to beam on elastic support analysis, does anyone have any methodologies that they use?
Thanks in advance
