Hello
I am a student. While designing a steel frame with a bracing and the a horizontal load acting on the frame, how do I input the restrain for bracing in SPACE GASS. Even if the has hinge connection, will it be FFFFFF, since it can't rotate in any directions.

- The question isn't clear.
- This isn't a forum for students.
- 99% of the users here don't use SpaceGass.

Go read the manual.

Then you should be posting your question in the student forum.

As human909 said, nobody really uses that program around here. RISA will do just about all that the 'premier' version of SpaceGass does plus a lot more for other materials for small fraction of the cost. There may be some niche areas where that program would shine, but it's not worth it for most practitioners.
