For a bracket being design for space applications

where do the structural requirements come from, for example
frequency higher 120Hz
acceleration x,y,z 20g,20g,25g
random and so on

where the exact numbers come from? because the documents I searched are generic

Um, maybe from the NASA spacecraft structural design requirements? Maybe from the rocket design requirements? Don’t you have a spec for your vehicle?

And this would be much better posted in the spacecraft engineering forum. The one is mostly civil structures engineers.

Leo16:
Actually, these types of questions might better be asked of your boss, so he/she knows what you know and what you don’t know, so they can guide you and keep you and the company out of serious trouble. When you are a young/new engineer these questions shouldn’t be all that embarrassing with the boss, but at year two and three you should start having a handle on these types of issues.

Anybody works for NASA, or has space structure experiences, please raise your hand.
