BREAST SHOT WATER WHEEL RPM CALCULATIONS BASED ON RIVER VELOCITY AND WATER HEAD

Hi Hydrologists! Need help in calculating Breast shot water wheel's R.P.M based on availablle water head (i.e. around 6 feet) and water flow rate (i.e. 14.3 cubic feet per second).

I think 163 RPM

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it's not safe ... make it that way.

That'd be without a turbulator. If you fit the Acme turbulator A27 it'll be at least 167 rpm, and it makes coffee.

The 13,000,000 million $ price tag for that thing makes it highly unlikely ANYONE would do it, except for the ones made under license in Italy. They look so nice the extra money is worth it.
