I am given 25 wooden sticks (3 x 3 x 600)mm & a glue and these rules :must spen 660 mm and have overall length of
700mm
: maximum width of 150mm
: maximum height above the support 250mm
: a 100mm passage way
:no lamination of mambers (jont must not be
more than 6mm

As part of a 2nd year engineering Lab class for Statics and Strength of Materials. I had my students design simillar structures. Your bridge can become quite strong, easily holding up to 127 kg,(280 lb), if it is designed correctly.

Go to this site download the West Point Bridge Designer and start designing and testing bridge designs on your computer. This will give you a good idea of what works and what doesn't.
