Hello Bridge Engineers,

Does anybody shed me light on drainage arrangement of bridge decks supporting high speed train slab tracks/track slabs?

For bridges with non-ballasted track is rather simple - just regular drainage where needed, to minimize standing water on the structure.
For ballasted track, the drainage inlets are located below the ballast, the slabs supporting the ballast shall be min. 2% graded, and under no circumstances the ballast could become saturated with water.
