Does anyone know the reason why a RSR would bleed gas continuously. I'm looking for a fix to a problem at a reg. station that is a remotely controlled station. There seems to be somewhat of a constant bleed. Would rebuilding the "block" on the RSR solve the problem?

That's the nature of the beast. We have to install catalytic heaters on these installations to keep the regulators from freezing up due to the bleed.

Becker makes non-bleed controls. Actually, they bleed, but the gas is exhausted into the outlet line.

There are other non-bleed (or minimal bleed) regulators available, depending on what pressure you are working with.
