as per biritish standereds we use cable sizes in mm sq. 1 mm sq. is equal to how much AWG.

1 inch**2 = (25.4)**2 = 645.15 mm**2
1 mm = 0.03937 inch
1 mm**2 = (0.03937)**2 = 0.00155 inch**2
