Broken diameter dimensions.

IS there a way of creating a broken dimension without the geometry being there at the other end?

For example, I have a cylindrical part with some intricate detail. I pull out a 'detail' view of part of that detail.

In that detail view, I want to dimension a diameter, but Inventor doesn't see it as a diameter anymore, just as a line. So if I click on the OD surface of the diameter in the detail view, how can I make that created dimension imply it's going to the other side of the part?

So I want a broken dimension - i.e. the dimension starts at the surface of the OD on my detail view, then has the dimension figure, then has a zig-zag section in the base line to indicate it's a broken dimension, then another bit of straight base line, then two arrow heads (to indicate the dimension continues) and then just stops.

Hope someone understands what I'm talking about, this is one of those moments where a drawing would explain it in a second!
