Is it possible to do a Broken Out Section View when the source view is an iso view? I have tried repeatedly and am having no luck. I brought in a new front view and it worked fine but will not work on an iso view on my computer. Am I doing something wrong or is this a limitation of ST2?

Thanks!

Yes, but you must draw the profile of the view in a standard view.
Then, when solid edge prompts you which view you want to place the broken out section view (I believe this is the last step after you draw the profile and select the extent or depth of the broken out section), select the iso view.

You can also create the cut-away view in the assembly and use that in your draft file. The help files should tell you how to do it.

Where would we be without sat-nav?

Yeah beach, that works well for me too.
I've used that in the past in conjunction with configurations too.
Great way to quickly show what you want to show in draft.
Eliminates fishing through components on the display tab to find the one you want to hide.
