Hi

Can anyone please explain the designation of: BS1501 - 151/161 grade 400A? What does the 151/161 stand for?

151 = Killed or Semi Killed
161 = Si Killed
Suggest you get a copy of the standard

I think you will find that BS1501 was replaced by BS EN 10028, 1-3, 1993
