Does anyone know the equivalent category for a BS5500 Category II vessel under the section VIII code?

ASME VIII -1 does not have this type of classes.
BS 5500 Cat II means that spot NDE is required. In short this means that 10% of the weld lengths shall be RT or UT.
In ASME this would mean designing with a E of 0.85 for butt joints.
BS 5500 Cat II however allows E=1 (in fact they do not use a weld factor)
