G'day learned friends,
Has anyone else encountered the following apparent bug while stepping through code in the VBA editor:
Specifically using Excel 2000, I often step though code line by line (using the F8 key) to check what is happening in Excel is exactly as I want. On occasion while stepping through code the VBA editor will suddenly "jump" to another module in the same workbook and, starting from the top of the page, step through each line in the new module. The weird thing is it does not appear to be executing any of the code, in fact, it is still executing the code from the original module, it just appears to be displaying the wrong module in the VBA editor. There is definitely no call to another function or sub-procedure in the original module, it just appears to jump to it on it's own accord. If there are several sub's on the module it jumps to it steps through each one from top of page to bottom with no apparent execution of any of the code. Has anyone else come across this bug? Any ideas what is causing it?
