Bugs in ST8

ST8 seems to have quite a few bugs in my experience.

Test not visable in dimensions. Extrude command fails in all parts whe working in ordered mode. The latter can be fixed by generating new part and making a base extrusion. After that there is no problem until issue pops up again.

I'm woring from MP2. I thought most issues would be sorted by now.

Unfortunately it is the nature of complex, ever-evolving software with revisions and updates, old and/or new problems are introduced. My understanding is that MP2 is fairly buggy. That's why we haven't installed it and are awaiting MP3. It is a practice of many companies to wait on upgrades and MPs while others do the field testing

I'm on MP5 and still having problems.

Most of issues are fairly small like display problems. However they are very annoying and time consuming. I am not geting much help from tec. support.

I wonder is it because I am working in ordered mode?

I have experienced some minor graphics issues which were fixed by installing a specific driver recommended in the Siemens Solid Edge community.
As for the extrude command failing in any mode I have not experienced or heard about.

Working better now. No issues since previous post.

Only problem I had was in one part which wouldn't update unless SE restarted. Luckely it wasn't too complicated so I made up new version.
