Burning salt water for energy?

I will add that a hydrogen flame is colorless; the nice yellow color is from sodium that's carried along.
 
Don't know for sure, but found some more info on flame colors due to elememts & combinations. Whereas sodium is yellow, sodium + chlorine is more orange:
Pictures of various chloride flames here:
