Derivations/formulae/Calculations for busbar joint temperature subject to different applied currents. Busbar joint consists of two rectangular busbars are bolted together at each end of the two rectangular plates- one on each side of the joint. Busbars and plates are made of the same materials (copper). The aim is to find out the steady state temperature of the joint at different applied currents. Can assume the busbars are of the same dimensions with each other and so the same for the plates. Hope some one have done/known this problem and greatly appreciate to receive further advice
