I am trying to find out if there is a recommended practice for groove design in bushings. All of the cases I found were rotating and I have an axially moving cylinder within two bronze bushings, grease lubricated...
Current idea is to have a radial groove on the outside with four holes distributing grease to the inside. I read that a labyrinth groove is recommended but I am having trouble determining the size, ammount and distribution of grooves...
