bust in my scour analysis using HEC-RAS

I am running a HEC-RAS model of two bridges at one crossing and RAS will not calculate scour in this scenario. So I have taken my sections and put a vertical wall at the stagnation point and removed one bridge from the geometry. I then adjust the flow for the single bridge and try to run a scour analysis. The output that RAS is generating makes no sense whatsoever. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Thanks,
Matt

Could you explain a little bit about what you mean "makes no sense whatsoever"? :)

If by "two bridges" you mean a main bridge and a relief bridge, that's similar to what I do - I cut off the section and run each bridge with its respective flow.

RAS is kind of funny about the parameters you put into the scour analysis - sometimes you must enter a "0" instead of leaving a blank.

Check to make sure your decimal is in the right place for your grain sizes.
