Hi show790,

Open the Gearbox cover first and remove (temporarily) the grease for better view. You will know whether its do-able or not.
In my view it can be No and Yes. Depending on how the minion/gear is mounted (this is normally 1/4 circle geared for 90 degrees movement) towards the spindle and or bonnet?
Is it integrated with the spindle or with some sort of pin? and also with the Bonnet/Body?
This of course assuming that the gear box is symmetrical (either its square or circle) and some other factors e.g. how do you secure the valve from not moving while the pin groove being modified.
It would be quite tricky, suggest if Operator can bear with not so ergonomically position of gearbox, mind as well keep it like that. Better also to discuss with the manufacturer prior

Regards,
MR

All valves will last for years, except the ones that were poorly manufactured; are still wrongly operated and or were wrongly selected

Yes, under one condition. 2(180 degree rotaion only) or 4(90 degree rotations) keyways in the gearbox drive bush that is in contact with shaft.
