Hello,
I have a problem with this bystar 3015 (2006.y) machine. Friday operator turn on machine then cut only one detail and he has error(pic):

Tried to shut down and turn on sometimes but it not helps. Today (monday) turn on again and we have 0 errors but gas is not filled in. You see that in picture where reset controlled and vacuum pump running butttons are green and other are not activate.

we find there is a problem with wakuum leaking and we can do anything. Only bystronic service can help.

First and easiest place to check for a leak is the yellow hoses inside the laser cabinet ( see pics) providing they are still the same ones fitted factory. Vacuum lines are always yellow. You don't need to touch the yellow one's that are in the gas mix rig though. You need to undo fittings and cut the ends of the hose and re-seat them, sometimes that is all it is. Just take a little off each end. Sometimes just giving them a tighten will fit the problem. If the leak is in the glassware then you will need to get a tech in for that. You don't want to break those things as there not cheap. Do you know how to perform a leak test ???.

If you ask me to do something, I will do it. There's no need to nag me every 6 months

Steven,

You can also go into Laser view and reset the error. it may give you 5 to 6 more different errors but can sometimes start the filling with gas step. I've had these same issues before. First time it was fixed by doing what I said above. The next time I had a leak in the glassware so bad I could hear it sucking in air. Got the tech out for that

another place they like to leak is on the o-rings for the anodes that seal them to the plasma tubes. Bystronic revised this a few times make sure you have the firm green o-rings or the double red/green o-ring.

Krugtech, you are right again. Bystronic technik finds vacuum leak in tube 8. Found o- ring between ceramic parts hit with high voltage. All o-rings replaced for tube 8. Checked vacuum leak 1,2 hPa/h.
Thanks for help everyone!

you need to look at the dehumidifier in the bottom of the resonator casing. When they stop working, you get too much humidity in the resonator cabinet and this causes flashovers like this. be absolutely sure the resonator cabinet is sealed, make sure there are no water leaks or any sign of water and make sure the dehumidifier is working. Don't run the chiller if the excitation isn't on. I've seen this take out excitation modules and break ceramics
