Hello,
our operator keyboard on laser doesn't work. If I pres buttons on virtual keyboard on screen, LED light light up, but if I press button on physical keyboard, it doesn't work. Mouse on the keyboard works normally, but as I see it's a separate device.

Maybe drivers are missing? Or maybe I need to configure this port correctly?

Thank you

Your keyboard is not serial, it goes through a special ISA interface card. Unless someone went in and deleted the driver you're most likely dealing with a hardware issue. There should be a folder labeled "Install" on your C drive and in there you should find another folder "Keybdrv40" or something like that which contains the driver for your keyboard. The newer machines used a serial port for the keyboard.

I would start by checking for a stuck key on your keyboard, check for continuity on each key. If you need a new ISA controller I have some. I have refurbished panel PC's too.

I have checked, there is no install folder on my Bystronic pc. Maybe you could share this driver? Thank you

I have solved this problem with Krugtech help.
Solution:
You have to make sure IRQ 5, 10 and 11 are reserved in the bios. Possibly IRQ 6 also depending on what network card is being used.

BIOS battery was removed, so I guess that's how they disappear.

yes, that will do it. I've seen machines that were scrapped (not bystronic) because batteries were swapped without backing up the settings.
