Cable Carousel Analysis

Hi All,

I want to know how can i model this situation in Solidworks simulation. This solution was done using ANSIS by someone.
Can someone guide me please.

The biggest challenge will be to model the cables (with beam elements) and their connections (with connectors, mainly compression spring one). The rest should be relatively easy to recreate in SolidWorks Simulation.

that's very tricky. some springs may be in tension too if 2 cables are pressed in between from top.

[FEA way]

SolidWorks Simulation offers three types of springs: tension only, compression only, tension and compression. So you should be able to achieve the desired effect. There may be only problems caused by the limitations regarding the connection of the spring to the rest of the model.
