A 1980's facility with precast (maybe tilt-up) and vertical cables in the wall (see photo).
The exterior side photo is near the top of the 35' tall wall (bar joists/metal deck roof system, bar joists do not sit on wall).
Can also see horizontal deformed reinforcing bars.
Does anyone know information on this type of wall?
Would like to cut an opening at slab elevation for an overhead door.
This wall becomes an interior wall due to an expansion.
I would think stressed cables, inside and outside face.
Thank you.

This is a fine, free document on the modern design of sandwich panels: Link. Many of the principles will be the same whether or not your wall is, truly, a sandwich panel.

An overhead door in a prestressed panel without detailed information on the original design is a rough assignment. I would expect to have to introduce structural steel behind the opening that winds up doing a lot of the work with respect to out of plane wind loads and narrow panel leg buckling. Depending on your situation, replacement of shear wall capacity might need attention as well.
