I was hoping someone might be able to help me. I am running Land Development 2005. Suddenly today, everytime I try to plot (whether it is the icon, the pull down menu, or simply typing PLOT) the software freezes up. I have had no luck finding the problem in the help topics. I have rebooted the computer several times. As far as I can tell, every other function is working correctly. Any thoughts out there?

I've had similar problems with big files.
Two different issues,
- on a day when I had previously done a lot of work which involved paging when the program writes down to the swap file, there wasn't enough room to write the file to the local spooler. Reboot, wipe the swap file (use a program like Wipe'n clean), set a bigger swap file size.
- printing through a network, the cable losses, out and back to the plotter were too great to get a signal back to the plotter (I don't understand why either!). Make a direct printer cable connection to the plotter from the PC.

If none of these things work put your foot through the workstation and scream !!![censored]

Have you tried plotting this file from another computer, to see if it is isolated to yours?
