Does anyone know of any CAD programs that come with typical/sample ship drawings already in them?

No.

Building a ship requires a lot of different kinds of drawings, literally tons of paper. A single CAD file would be too big to manipulate, too. Do you want:

Hull outlines and sections?
Deck plans and elevations?
Machinery installation layouts?
Structures?

What?

there are number of shipbuilding system used for design purposes and they come with some sample model/drawing with them.
the question is what kind of ship or particular specilized vessel do u need?

My purpose is to find typical drawings that can be used in ultrasonic thickness testing reports (I suppose hull outlines and sections since that is where much of the testing is done) and in training programs to train personnel on ship construction.
