Question in calculating electrical load drop (if any) in a 110/120 circuit running a distance of 100-feet. This line may have 5 duplex outlets. Any idea on to figure this or point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Scott

The load drop depends on the size and type of wire used. What is the maximum load you are going to have? The resistance per foot of wire is easily calculate and is posted by many wire manufactures and is available in the engineering hand book under material properties.

Sincerely yours,
Leslie H. Howell

Don't forget to factor in a resistance increase due to the heating of the wire.
