Oct 27, 2005 #2 TVP Materials Apr 12, 2002 4,592 Ca is added to modify the shape of MnS inclusions-- essentially it makes them undeformable, so that they break up into smaller, globular particles instead of elongating into "stringers" during hot rolling.
